Fixed Plant Maintenance Engineer
Breedon are currently seeking a Fixed Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team based at our Leaton Quarry near Telford, Shropshire.
You will be responsible for developing a preventative maintenance system and carrying out planned maintenance activities to ensure that our quarry operates safely and reliably. You will also play a key 'hands on' role in the planning and implementation of plant improvements. You will need to have the ability to quickly fault find, respond to any unplanned plant shutdowns and work closely with other team members and contractors as required.
Experience in an industrial maintenance role would be a distinct advantage, as would a positive record and attitude towards health and safety. It would also be an advantage if you have experience of mechanical and, hydraulics, crushing and screening, cutting, grinding, welding and fabrication in addition to general maintenance activities. Leaton Quarry operates a two shift system - mornings and afternoons.
