Location: Flexible, hybrid working with travel across sites
Contract: Permanent, full-time, able to consider part-time opportunities
Responsibilities
Reporting into our Category Manager - Fleet, your role will involve, but not be limited to:
- ensuring that all processes operated by Kier's Fleet Management Services providers are efficient and continually reviewed and improved.
- constructing and managing RFI/RFP events and leading negotiations with suppliers/service providers.
- managing both existing and future supplier relationships and contracts.
- Investigating and developing framework agreement improvements and lead other continual improvement exercises to create lasting benefits to the Kier business.
- developing and implementing sourcing strategies, including significant elements of the Kier category management process to ensure risks are mitigated and opportunities realised, ensuring all suppliers identified and can meet Kier's policies and accreditations.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience of procurement techniques and a demonstrable understanding of category management tools and techniques
- A good understanding and proven track record of procurement activities in the fleet category
- CIPS qualified or actively working towards CIPS qualification
- Articulate knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Negotiation, preparation and leadership skills with a proven track record on delivering savings
- Experience of costing methods and valuation and ability to analyse financial information and identify risk
- Able to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders
