Location: Flexible, hybrid with occasional travel to Rushden, Northamptonshire as required
Business Unit: Kier Fleet
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent and able to consider part-time opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Reporting into our Fleet Financial Controller, your role will involve but not be limited to:
- Managing subledgers including GL and balance sheet reconciliations
- RU Accruals
- Assisting the Finance Controller in month end and year end process and reporting
- Quarter end IFRS16 reporting and trading forecast
- PPR validations and submitting PPR return
- Independent Cost validations
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role is essential with demonstrable finance experience in preparing full management accounts
- A self-starter with good attention to detail who thrives on working within a vibrant, enjoyable and busy environment, to ensure on time service delivery
- A self-starter, who is able to work alone, as well as part of a wider team
- Very strong data analytical skills and excellent excel knowledge
- Demonstrable finance experience in preparing full management accounts
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and be capable of delivering high levels of customer service, both personally and through the high quality of interactions with customers
- Proficient in MS Applications particularly Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook
