We're looking for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, at either Engineer, Senior, or Principal level, to join an exceptionally fast growing multi-disciplinary consultancy in either Patchway, Bristol or Dorcan, Swindon.

Your role will include the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, along with the detailed design of surface water drainage schemes for both residential and commercial developments.

You will get the chance to manage and lead on projects, as well as act as a subject matter expert in liaise with clients, local authorities and other team members.

Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer - Requirements:

  • A relevant Bachelor or Master's Degree qualification
  • Experience of flood risk assessments and designing drainage schemes using MicroDrainage
  • Technical report writing knowledge for planning applications including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports
  • A full UK driving license and own transportation

Desirable:

  • Experience of fluvial and pluvial flood risk modelling
  • Knowledge of S104 drainage designs
  • Industry contacts to generate new business
