We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable floor layer to join our growing team for exciting projects in the EC1 area. As a floor layer with us, you'll be responsible for installing a wide range of flooring materials, including carpets, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laying flooring materials to the highest standards, ensuring a flawless finish.
- Preparing subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing surfaces.
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting flooring materials precisely.
- Communicating effectively with clients and the team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in floor laying with a strong portfolio of work.
- Knowledge of various flooring types and installation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Own tools and equipment are preferred, but not essential.
- Valid CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience with both domestic and commercial flooring projects is a plus.
