We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a Foreman to join our Infrastructure-Major Projects team in Newbury to manage safety onsite and ensuring tasks are carried out with the highest level of expertise and skill.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Foreman role, you'll manage safety on site including giving inductions and effective Toolbox Talks, Daily Task Briefings and Point of Work assessments to Site Operatives. You'll have a key involvement in enabling work activities and supervising Site Operatives to ensure tasks are carried out within their levels of skill and expertise. In addition, you'll be responsible for organising and requisitioning Site Equipment, Plan and Materials to ensure completion of works and review and maintain plant reports as effectively as possible. You'll liaise with Line Managers on managing work methods and produce information to progress reports.
What do we need from you?
You'll be experienced Supervisor or Manager with demonstrable experience and practical application of the set up and day to day running of a construction site. You'll hold a NVQ Level 1/2 qualification and valid CSCS and SSSTS card.
