Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known social housing company based in the West London who are looking for a highly skilled FRA Manager to join their team.

As the FRA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the fire risk assessment process for a portfolio of social housing properties. Your role will involve working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure that all fire safety measures are adhered to, and compliance with regulatory standards is maintained across the board.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating fire risk assessments across a range of properties.
  • Reviewing and ensuring that all FRA reports are accurate and completed on time.
  • Implementing fire safety strategies and ensuring they are effectively communicated and followed.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders (clients, contractors, and local authorities) to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation.
  • Managing the FRA team and providing guidance and support to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Developing action plans and ensuring timely completion of fire safety works.
  • Reporting and presenting fire safety audit results and action plans to senior management.

About You:


You will have a strong background in fire safety management within the social housing sector, with hands-on experience in managing FRA processes. Ideally, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in fire risk assessments within a social housing or property management context.
  • A relevant fire safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety, IFE membership, or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of fire safety legislation, codes of practice, and best practices (such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
