We are currently seeking a Framework General Manager for our Highways England (HE) delivery joint venture business - Breedon Bow Highways Limited (BBH).
The role will be based at the Breedon head office at Breedon on the Hill near Derby.
Reporting to the BBH Board Representatives you will lead BBH to obtain the required financial, sustainability and safety performance across our operational areas which currently includes the Midlands and East HE areas, mostly as Principal Contractor. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing relationships with HE and helping lead the business through the next Pavement Framework tender process.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Drive the health and safety culture within the JV and the HE community
- Leading the business and executing business strategy
- HE relationship management
- Balance sheet and P&L account performance
- Operational best practice ensuring client minimum performance standards are exceeded
- Collaborating with internal and external key stakeholders
- Health, Safety and Welfare of employees and affected stakeholders
- Develop environmental and sustainable business solutions
- ISO accredited Management Systems compliance
You will possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience of leading and developing teams at a senior level
- Experience of key client relationship management including HE
- Experience of developing and delivering business strategy
- Ability to perform under pressure, analyse problems and evaluate data
- Evidence of influencing and improving business culture
