Are you a Freelance Cost Manager looking for a new unique challenge? Are you happy to travel on site 2 days a week in Tilbury (Essex) where the project takes place and work 3 days from home?
What the day will look like:
- Primarily you will be responsible for planning and forecasting the project budget
- Ensuring the project complies with financial regulations
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the budget
- Overseeing project cost management strategy and aligning with the organization's financial requirements
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience of commercial management and procurement of subcontractors
- Ability to report, conduct earned value analysis and estimation and cost analysis
- Excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills
- Ability to use spreadsheets to interpret and analyse financial data
