Job Title: Freelance Estimator
Sector: Modular Housing
Location: Derby
Rates: £300-£350 / Day - subject to experience
An immediate requirement for a highly skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to fulfil a three-month contract focussed on streamlining and implementing Bills of Materials systems for a UK based Modular Housing Contractor.
The Aim: To introduce a system which will significantly contribute towards the automation of Bills of Materials across the business.
You will have the autonomy needed to deliver the project and will come from a construction background within House Building.
The Requirements:
- Substantial experience within estimating and raising BOMs/BOQs
- A proactive character and problem solver
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage information across a number of stakeholders
- A working knowledge of CAD programs and excellent Microsoft Excel skills
The Role:
- Contract / Freelance Assignment
- Duration: c. three months
- Start: ASAP
- Rates: Day rate of £300-£350/day dependent on experience
- Location: East Midlands - office based.
