A leading construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Freelance MEP Contracts Manager to join their team, supporting a portfolio of high-profile projects across Europe. The role is London based with hybrid working, and offers the chance to work on complex international schemes while enjoying freelance flexibility.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the contractual and commercial aspects of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) packages. You will act as a key point of contact between client, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance, minimising risk, and driving contractual performance across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contract administration for MEP packages across European projects
- Negotiate and oversee contracts and subcontracts (FIDIC / NEC)
- Advise stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations and risk management
- Support procurement activities and contractor appointments
- Provide commercial input to ensure successful project delivery
Candidate Profile:
- Strong track record as an MEP Contracts Manager within consultancy or contractor environments
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and/or NEC contracts
- Experience working on large-scale, international construction projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- London based
