Start: December 2017 / January 2018
Duration: 3 months from start
Rate: Day rates - £230 - £250
- A market leading structural sub contractor requires an experienced Site Manager to deliver a key project in Essex
Recognised worldwide as the best in what they do, this contractor has a strong reputation for delivering high-end engineered hybrid structures. Working on a contract and freelance basis, the successful candidate can expect to oversee a new build steel frame project which will incorporate engineered timber features.
We are looking for candidates with first rate steel structures experience, gained via working directly for a steel structures contractor.
Experience:
- Typically your experience is likely to be from CLT, Glulam Beams or traditional steelwork construction forms.
- You will be familiar with working on fast track projects and have experience with offsite manufactured structures and ideally taking responsibility for on-site lifting operations.
- You will be experienced in overseeing construction of complex and advanced building structures, but able to take a "hands on" approach
Essential Qualifications:
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black Card
- First Aid
Desirable:
- CPCS Appointed Person for Lifting

Rates: Day rates paid at £230 - £250 / day
