Your role as a FTTP supervisor

As FTTP Supervisor you will be managing Direct labour and Supply Partners, reporting to a Project Manager. You will be responsible for the site and field supervision of jointing and cabling activities ensuring that all client orders are delivered to time, in a safe and compliant manner, ensuring all contractual processes, safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities as a FTTP supervisor

  • You will be responsible for the site and field supervision of Kier direct labour and supplier teams
  • Supporting your team to improve through structured coaching and development using recognised models
  • Ensuring compliance to all safety and quality standards via an in-progress and retro checking regime
  • Daily management of annual leave, sick and timesheet approval
  • Ensuring operatives have correct training and accreditations to enable them to conduct their role
  • You will ensure stores and materials are available as required
To be a successful FTTP supervisor we need from you

  • Full driving licence
  • A good understanding of the openreach Communications Network
  • Good people management skills
  • Awareness and understanding of the Communications Network Installation Specifications
  • NRSWA - Current qualification to supervisor standard. (Unit 10)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Excel, Teams and Word
  • Coaching and development qualifications or experience
  • Experience working in the Openreach UG and OH network
  • COSHH/RIDDOR/Health &Safety at Work - Knowledge of regulations and requirements
  • Relevant openreach accreditations SA001, SA002
