Your role as a FTTP Surveyor
This is a permanent role working on the BT and Openreach network. The role is diverse if you have a strong work ethic and knowledge of the Fibre Optic Infrastructure and network then we would like to hear from you
Key Responsibilities of a FTTP Surveyor
- Understanding and surveying existing network infrastructure
- Carrying out area surveys to ascertain whether any obstructions will prevent a successful installation
- Completing survey documentation packs
- Meeting with clients to resolve any issues
- Conduct quality checks and onsite safety audits
- Delivering a consistently high level of customer service when out in the field
- Work with other departments including project managers and co-ordinators to build program of works
- Previous experience with Openreach and / or Falcon surveying
- Experienced in completing Orion based surveys for the FTTP network
- Well organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Basic understanding of the contract terms and conditions applicable to the work
- Ability to liaise effectively with client management teams, streetworks and planning representatives
- Awareness and understanding of the Communications Network Installation Specifications
- Previous experience working on the BT/OR Network
- Excellent knowledge of FTTP/FTTH/CAT A Planning processes
- S11, S13, S18, SA001 Overhead, SA002 Underground
