Job Description

As a Fund Accountant, you will support financial reporting cycles, prepare and review statements, manage capital events, assist in tax reporting, and oversee daily cash and administrative processes. You will work closely with fund administrators and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across complex real estate structures.

Shift: Night shift, Monday to Friday, 9 AM-6 PM EST (10 PM-7 AM Manila), Weekends Off
Work setup: Permanent WFH

  • The Qualifications We Seek

    Experience:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in fund accounting/operations OR real estate space
  • Private equity real estate experience (preferred)
  • Technical Skills:

  • FIS Investran software experience (MUST HAVE)
  • Strong partnership accounting skills
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience reading LLC agreements, LPAs, and legal documents
  • Hands-on experience preparing financial statements and NAV files
  • US tax reporting experience
  • Your Daily Tasks

    Fund Accounting & Quarterly/Annual Reporting

  • Prepare and reconcile books and records for ~60 entities quarterly and ~150 annually
  • Prepare 1st drafts of financial statements for ~7 in-house entities quarterly
  • Conduct 1st reviews of fund administrator deliverables, including NAV workpapers, financial statements, partner allocations, and capital account statements
  • Assist with sending investor reports
  • Support annual audit processes
  • Capital Events

  • Prepare capital calls/distributions
  • Conduct 1st review of notices from fund administrators
  • Assist with delivering notices to investors
  • Tax Reporting

  • Reconcile estimate and extension filings across ~175 entities
  • Assist with 1st reviews of tax returns and K-1s for 9/15 and 10/15 deadlines
  • Prepare investor K-1 packages
  • Support ad hoc tax admin requests
  • Day-to-Day/Administrative

  • Book and reconcile daily cash
  • Track monthly filing fees and submit annual reports
  • Maintain fund expenses and forecast payments
  • Organize GP reimbursement support
  • Track monthly property reporting
  • Ad Hoc Responsibilities

  • Assist with LP audit requests
  • Respond to LP inquiries
  • Manage investor KYC items
  • Address admin questions with internal teams/fund administrators
  • Form entities and create EINs
  • Maintain organized documentation across drives
