Kier Utilities is looking to recruit a Ganger, who will report to the General Foreman. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a 2-man gang, carrying out reactive and maintenance work to the site.

Locations - Norwich/Ipswich/Kings Lynn and Isleham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General site supervision, including completion of all records as required.
  • Report Health and Safety issues on site and complete appropriate records.
  • Communicating with the Supervisor and other colleagues to monitor progress and inform of problems.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental legislation, and that recycling takes place whenever possible.
  • ensure proper use of plant and materials, keeping wastage to a minimum.
  • Carry out and complete R&M work on the clean water network as directed.
  • Carry out on the job training of team members where necessary.
  • Any other suitable duty requested of you.
  • Work flexibly and carry out any suitable duty requested of you.
  • Represent Kier in a professional manner in both appearance and attitude
  • Be Punctual and available for work at the agreed times.
  • Must be able to become part of the Standby working OOH.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • NRSWA Operative
  • EUSR Water Hygiene
  • Cat & Genny Trained
  • UK driving licence
  • Network work experience
  • Able to use an electronic device for recording work details
  • Network work experience
  • You must be committed, hard-working, reliable and be able to work as part of a team.
