Kier Housing Maintenance (HM) have long standing partnership agreements with housing associations, local authorities and private landlords to conduct responsive repairs and planned maintenance across various sites. To support our Grainger Trust Partnership, we are now recruiting for a Gas Operative / Engineer to join us in East London, reporting to the Gas Manager, to assist with gas servicing & breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake gas servicing, repairs, testing, heating installation and maintenance work to provide high quality, 'right first time', cost effective building services to the business and its customers.
You will be expected to conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work and recognised industrial standards for such work, minimising damage to the fabric of the property, and adhere to the Kier Group Safety, Health and Environment Management System ('KGSHEMS') requirements at all times
What do we need from you?
You should hold relevant qualifications (i.e. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, CCN1, CPA1, CEN1,HTR1, WAT1, CKR1), and have worked in housing maintenance environments.
