We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and Infrastructure Services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a General Foreman to join our Regional Civil Engineering Team in Salisbury to have management of a section of works, overseeing self-delivery teams and sub-contractors to construct the works safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting General Foreman role, you'll ensure QA procedures are implemented and regularly monitored. You'll conduct production of RAMS for self-delivery works including review of subcontractors RAMs and implement Inspection and Test Plans. You'll have day-to-day management of subcontractors on-site and ensure all labour, plant and materials are accurately recorded.
What do we need from you?
A proactive, commercially aware individual with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. You'll have a proven track record in successfully managing a section of works and sub-contractors. You'll also have good management skills and the ability to lead and manage a team of employees.
