What you would be expected to do:
Manage the full operational, commercial and safety aspects of one of our flagship Local Authority highways maintenance contracts. Overseeing the safe and right first-time completion of projects and tasks across our various sites and activities in Shropshire, you will have full responsibility for delivery, development of our people, client collaboration and the profit and loss accounts. You will drive the management and improvement of main Kier business KPIs, management and training of staff, and management of Company obligations under the health & Safety at work at and associated legislation. You will lead our collaborative alliance with our Client and ensure that the jointly developed business plan is fully executed.
What we need from you:
Experience in a similar position, preferably in Highways
Management of multiple profit & loss accounts
Business focused on cost reduction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to take a collaborative approach
Quality management
Excellent problem-solving skills
