A really exciting opportunity to work in rewarding industry for a well known plastics manufacturing company.

Production operatives required for immediate starts.

  • Location: Swadlincote (DE11 9EU)
  • Job Type: Temp - perm work
  • No CSCS card required
  • Days: 6am - 2pm
  • Rotational shifts: 5am - 1pm | 1pm - 9pm @ £11.70 per hour plus holiday pay
  • Nights: 9pm - 5am @ £12.73 per hour plus holiday pay

Duties will include:

  • Manufacture of plastic components to required specification ensuring customer and quality requirements are met.
  • Ensure product integrity is maintained, quality standards are met and waste is kept to a minimum acceptable level.
  • Monitor, train and develop new recruits in their production skills base and ensure targets are achieved.
  • Highlight, analyse and problem resolve process, equipment or quality problems efficiently with the involvement of appropriate departments to ensure productivity continuity.
  • Check materials to ensure they meet manufacturing spec and that manufactured components are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure moulds are clean and free of defects and tools are returned to tooling location in a satisfactory working condition.

Requirements:

- Ideally have own transport due to location
- You will be required to wear full PPE (glasses, hard hat, high viz & safety boots)
- MUST have working reference
