A wide-ranging role with Aggregate Industries, a leading player in construction solutions. About the role As one of our General Operatives reporting to our Assistant Plant Manager and operating to the highest health, safety, environmental and quality standards, you’ll play a key role in contributing to profitability by minimising waste and inefficiencies whilst maximising productivity. Operating both fixed and heavy mobile plant, you’ll also undertake basic maintenance and housekeeping duties, working shift patterns, nights and weekends as required to ensure we achieve production targets. In addition to plant and equipment inspections to ensure they are fit for purpose. What will your bring? Time served or qualified mechanical fitter (electrical experience or qualification desirable, but not essential). Good attention to detail Flexible attitude Good computer skills Sound knowledge of Health & Safety procedures The ability to work to deadlines Great customer focus Good timekeeping and attendance record. FLT/ Shovel licence desirable (not essential) What can we offer you?
