GENERAL OPERATIVE / SEMI-SKILLED LABOURER - A57 PROJECT
MSSI Group Ltd is currently recruiting a General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer to join the long-term A57 Project in SK14. This is a great opportunity for a reliable General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer looking for consistent work on a major highways and civil infrastructure scheme.
We are seeking motivated and safety-aware General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer candidates who can support site teams and contribute to the smooth delivery of ongoing civils works.
Job Details
Location: A57 Project, SK14 Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 27/02/2026
Pay Rate
£13.14 p/h - PAYE Direct
Rolled-in Holiday Pay: +12.07%
Role Overview
As a General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer, duties may include:
Assisting groundworks and utilities teams
Carrying out general civil works and semi-skilled tasks
General site duties, material handling, and housekeeping
Supporting safe working practices and site operations
Following instructions from supervisors and site management
This role is well suited to an experienced General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer who is comfortable working in a busy site environment and committed to long-term work.
? Requirements
To be considered for this General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer role, you must have:
Valid CSCS Card
Full UK Driving Licence
EUSR Category 1 & 2
Previous experience in general civils or semi-skilled duties (preferred)
Good attitude, reliability, and site awareness
