GENERAL OPERATIVE / SEMI-SKILLED LABOURER - A57 PROJECT (LONG-TERM)
MSSI Group Ltd is currently recruiting General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer candidates for a long-term position on the A57 highways project in SK14. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer seeking secure, ongoing work on a major civil infrastructure scheme.
We are looking for hardworking and safety-conscious General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer operatives who can support site teams and contribute to the successful delivery of highways works.
Job Details
Location: A57 Project, SK14 Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 24/12/2026
Pay Rate
£13.14 p/h - PAYE Direct
Rolled-In Holiday: +12.07%
Role Overview
As a General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer, your responsibilities may include:
Assisting groundworkers, plant operators, and supervisors
Carrying out general labouring and semi-skilled duties
Supporting highways and civils activities on site
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following site instructions and safety procedures
Providing reliable support across multiple work fronts
This role is ideal for an experienced General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer who is comfortable working in a busy highways environment and committed to long-term employment.
? Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
Valid CSCS Card
Full UK Driving Licence
EUSR Category 1 & 2
Previous experience as a General Operative/Semi-Skilled Labourer on highways or civil infrastructure projects
A strong work ethic and good site awareness
