Job Title: GIS Technical Administrator

Location: Exeter, this will be based out of our office with home working available

Business Stream: Highways.

Salary: £20k-£25k FTE + Pension + Benefits

We are now recruiting for a GIS Technical Administrator to join our GIS Highways team to deliver cutting-edge data solutions to the business.

Key Responsibilities

As GIS Technical Administrator, you will undertake all GIS projects and workflows as directed by the Senior GIS Technical Administrator. Maintain and update GIS asset databases through digitisation and auditing. Provide analysis and processing of data from all areas of the business and display outcomes in meaningful and understandable ways, such as on maps, graphs, charts and spreadsheets.

We are seeking candidates who:
  • Hold a high level of IT competency, experience with all Microsoft Office packages and spreadsheets
  • Can use ESRI ArcGIS and AGOL.
  • Are able to translate end user requirements into working solutions
  • Can import and export various data formats
  • Hold high attention to detail
  • Possess sound written and oral communication skills, as well as confident presentation skills
