Breedon is a leading construction materials group in the UK and Ireland. We operate two cement plants, around 80 quarries, 40 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete and mortar plants, nine concrete and clay products plants, four contract surfacing businesses, six import/export terminals and two slate production facilities.

Following the significant recent acquisition of Lagan Group and the continued planned expansion of Breedon Group, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced GIS Manager to fulfil a new role in our 'Land & Mineral Resources' team. The role will provide professional support to the Land & Mineral Resources team in our Southern Division and will be based at our head office at Breedon on the Hill in the East Midlands.

Working as part of a small professional team this role will involve data management of a wide range of estates and development projects covering all associated property, geological and planning related issues to support Breedon's planned future growth. Furthermore, this will include the development and management of a property management system, utilising GIS and the administration of property matters related to Breedon's existing network of quarry, ready-mix, asphalt and office locations.

The role will appeal to someone with a commercially focused mindset with a continuous improvement and 'can do' philosophy. Good communication and problem-solving skills are important, together with the ability to relate to people at all levels, both within and outside the Company.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and/or similar qualifications with GIS experience preferably within the industry and be self-motivated, pro-active and able to manage a broad range of projects simultaneously with minimum supervision.
