We're looking for a GIS Technical Manager to join our Highways team based in Doxey Stafford or Birmingham to manage Kiers HS2 GIS work. Within this role, you can enjoy private healthcare, company car or car allowance, competitive annual leave with the option to buy/sell and even more.

Location: Doxey Stafford and Birmingham - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary: £35k - £45k

Responsibilities

As a GIS Technical Manager, you'll act as the primary point of contact for the project and Liaise with the Kier HS2 team and HS2.

Your day to day will include:
  • forward planning of the team's workload to ensure project requirements are met within set timeframes and at a high accuracy.
  • have a firm understanding of technical guidance related to HS2 deliverables and be able to coach others in best practice.
  • attend, run and contribute to client, team, and contractor meetings.
  • coach, train and motivate team members, and those in the wider GIS team.

This role of GIS Technical Manager is great for you if have:
  • proven track record of project management and project delivery.
  • experience with stakeholder liaison.
  • firm understanding of GIS and its application to the construction industry.
