Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire with a company van provided for travel to sites
Contract: Permanent, full time
Responsibilities
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and business connected.
In this role, you will be working on our Anglian Water Alliance, where we work on maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the water network.
As a GPR Surveyor, you'll be part of the team repsonsible for planned and reactive works and you will assist with pre-design, construction and delivery of the capital solutions and other network improvement schemes that fall within your area. This will include main laying schemes, DMA/DZ splits, DMA/DZ meter replacements, planned reactive large diameter and complex burst mains.
Your day to day will include:
- Playing a key part in pre-design surveying by carrying out intensive site surveys utilising ground penetrating radar
- Ensure data is uploaded and site information is transferred to design teams & engineers
- Through effective communication with your team and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure that opportunities to maximise on benefits across delivery routes are identified
This role of GPR Surveyor is great for you if:
- You hold the Professional Qualification of Level 3 Advanced EML Utility Surveyor Training
- Full Driving Licence
