An opportunity for a graduate to develop their career in insolvency with a leading firm of chartered accountants whilst studying for accredited insolvency qualifications : CPI and JIEB. Full training will be provided both in-house and supported by external courses for what is considered to be a full-time five year journey and deliver an insolvency qualification.

Meston Reid & Co is keen to recruit a graduate to help handle both corporate and personal insolvency assignments. The firm will help you develop the knowledge gained in your degree and provide an enjoyable and rewarding work experience. You will be given responsibility at an early stage and can expect direct involvement with third parties. There will always be someone available to provide training and support within the firm and ample opportunity during numerous social events to help promote team spirit.

The intention as that this is a graduate entry level position but could be of interest to someone looking to develop a range of business skills in a professional services environment without the need to obtain a degree beforehand. The successful candidate will have a good degree in a relevant subject, commercial awareness, strong IT skills and be an excellent communicator.

A driving licence is essential because there is an element of travel to locations across the North East of Scotland. Whilst the firm recognises that working from home is appropriate on occasion, the expectation is that the type of tasks undertaken mean that the job is office-based
