Graduate Trainee Manager Full time Flexible across the UK

At Breedon we are seeking talented individuals to join our Breedon Graduate Trainee (GT) Programme; designed to attract and develop people who will become our leaders of the future. Whether you are graduating, recently graduated or have spent a few years in work this is an opportunity designed to help you build the foundations for a lifelong career.

At Breedon we are committed to making a material difference to the lives of our colleagues, customers and communities. We take a value led approach in all our activities and respect the contribution of our colleagues in making this happen. In respect of this we're working continuously to construct an inclusive working environment, promoting an environment where colleagues can be themselves, feel valued, respected and are able to give their best. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career within a growing, dynamic organisation.

How does the GT Programme work?

Being based at one of our sites in our divisions, you will embark on a structured 12 month personal development programme which aims to prepare you for a future management role within Breedon. Initially you'll have a week long business induction along with other colleagues enrolled on the programme, following this you will embark on 3 rotations whereby you will spend approximately 3 months supporting projects in different business divisions. This will give you 'hands on' experience and a broad grounding in all aspects of our business. Throughout this you will also be enrolled on business skills training, focusing on presentation & communication skills, health & safety and HR. You will also have a personal mentor and a designated HR contact who will support you in addition to your line manager.

At the end of the programme we will work with you to understand your career expectations and will develop a tailored plan with identifiable career pathways. This will ensure you gain the relevant skills, knowledge and expertise to fulfil your potential as a future leader at Breedon.

Do you have what it takes?

  • You have a degree or a couple of years experience in a working environment.
  • You take the lead and have the ability to influence others.
  • You can demonstrate initiative and are reliable.
  • You possess excellent communication skills.
  • You are committed to progressing and developing your career.

The Group places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to the Company's zero harm culture.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered including company pension scheme and life assurance.
