At Elk Recruitment we are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer or Building Services Engineer for our client in Dublin. The graduate engineer will report to the Senior project engineer and will assist the senior engineers with general site duties on a large projects in Dublin and nationwide. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience with a well-established Dublin employer.

The job functions will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Commercial sector knowledge/experience an advantage but not a necessity
  • To work on tender packages, determining what materials are required, pricing the materials and estimating labour requirements. This will be done in conjunction with the purchasing and installation department
  • Excellent problem solving, presentation, communication and IT skills essential

Key requirements:

  • Proactive
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree in Building Services Management
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Building Services also applicable
  • Proficient in using Solidworks 3D CAD software & AutoCAD2D would be beneficial
  • Good problem-solving skills
