The role:
The role will allow you to gain a unique and exciting experience working within the Digital team of a rapidly growing global pharmaceutical Company.
You will gain first-hand experience of how systems are used across Pharmanovia' s departments and geographies and have measurable input into any new developments. The role will involve implementation of many diverse types of digital solutions, spanning from off-the-shelf or bespoke systems, analytics platforms, digital therapeutics, AI/ML models as well as offering the chance to develop in-house software applications where required. You will be part of the team responsible for the delivery of large-scale digital solutions that drive significant business benefit via input from idea inception through to go-live phase.
The Digital Projects Team is a developing function within the business that the candidate will have the opportunity to help shape. You will have an excellent opportunity for cross functional project collaboration covering all areas of our rapidly growing business. Specific development plans will be created to develop the candidates project management, technical and managerial skills as part of the Pharmanovia Graduate Scheme.
Main responsibilities:
- Assessment and identification of business problems and corresponding digital solutions,
- Act as subject matter expert on latest digital developments (e.g., new systems, technology, AI) that can add value to Pharmanovia' s business model,
- Creation and delivery of project scope documents with clear business justification, costings, expected return on investment and proposal for best-route-forward,
- Project Management of all assigned Digital Projects from inception to Go-Live including oversight of cross-functional teams & Subject-matter Experts,
- Assist with the identification of potential business improvement areas such as new automation, new digital medicine developments and improvements to existing solutions and processes,
- Coordination of meetings and communications with key stakeholders and vendors
- Ensure all business project tracking software is always up-to-date and available to key project stakeholders,
- Where required, development of bespoke software solutions, either independently or working with an external provider.
What we are looking for:
The role will require an ability to work independently and pro-actively with multiple teams and across multiple projects concurrently. Pharmanovia is looking for a creative individual who is not afraid to try new things, think outside the box and can deliver results.
- On target to achieve a 2:1 undergraduate degree
- Great communicator both verbally and in writing
- Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Software Programming skills would be helpful
- A keen interest in digital technologies
- Project Management skills
- Change/Project Lifecycle (both Waterfall and Agile)
- Knowledge of Project Management Tools
- Basic understanding of CRM Systems (e.g. Salesforce)
- Ability to use Gant Charts
- Team player who can build rapport with colleagues and partners from around the world
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and thrive in a dynamic environment with high level of agility
- A driving licence is essential as site visits and partner meetings are required
- High level of spoken and written English
