The role:

You will support the Finance Business Partnering team, working cross-departmentally to analyse, understand and report on costs, inventory and technical transfers to help drive performance in these areas.

What you'll be involved in:

  • Working with colleagues on projects across the business.
  • Providing support to annual budgeting, forecasting and product costing.
  • Analysing and reporting on cost of production.
  • Reporting on inventory demand and supply analysis.
  • Forecasting sales and analysing the market dynamics.
  • Supporting senior management with key strategic projects.
  • Financial modelling in connection with all business activities.

About you:

  • On track to achieve a minimum 2.1 degree in a relevant subject e.g., finance, sciences, quantitative discipline, or business).
  • First class numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal communication in business English; able to relate to stakeholders at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong aptitude for technology and highly proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Specific skills are desirable for the data-oriented roles, such as programming knowledge (Python, R), Excel (VBA, Power Query, Macros etc), visualisation tools, SQL, and any other technical/IT related skills
  • Ability to maintain resilience, learn quickly and navigate ambiguity
  • Commercial acumen that can be applied with insight to inform or deliver results.
  • Desire of working, supporting, and being integral part of key financial processes:
    • Monthly closing - record to reporting
    • Management Accounting
    • WoC Management and related processes
    • Banks and Treasury management
  • Analytical skills to understand financial statements, business reports and ERP system to be able to translate data in recommendations to the business.
