You'll be joining a supportive team and this opportunity represents a great opportunity for individual learning and career progression. The department has an ethos of continuous drug innovation through life cycle management, adding value to the Pharmanovia iconic brands and creating efficiencies. This, along with the rapid growth of the business, leads to a varied and dynamic working environment.

You will be responsible for high-quality analyses across a broad range of diseases and main conditions in the Pharmanovia therapy areas. Your core objectives include conducting research to create insightful commentary on the present and future drug landscape.

The role will report directly into the AVP for Product Innovation and the successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Conducting systematic literature reviews and analyse databases to identify prevalence/incidence data for assigned disease-specific conditions.
  • Analysing health conditions using treatment guidelines, regulatory, patent and clinical databases and publicly available sources for patient pool, licensed and un-licensed treatment options and unmet treatment needs.
  • Developing knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace of IQVIA data.
  • Learning new ways of analysing historical trends and patient / clinical reviews to estimate unmet needs.
  • Producing regular updates of a specific subset of diseases and/or therapy areas.
  • Compiling insightful and well-supported analysis.

About you:

Success in this role will require excellent time management, strong analytical skills. You will also need to have:

  • Minimum 2.1 degree in a relevant subject (e.g., economics, quantitative discipline, or business)
  • First class numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal communication in business English
  • Ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds
  • Strong aptitude for technology and highly proficient in the use of MS Office particularly intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to align to the working requirements of a fast-paced Graduate scheme
  • Relevant work experience by the way of placement would be desirable, but not essential
  • Demonstrable evidence of problem-solving
  • Project management skills
  • Organisational skills
