Graduate Quantity Surveyor career opportunity with a highly successful cost and project consultancy based in the Birmingham area. This is a very busy firm working across a number of sectors delivering a full range of project management, cost consultancy and health and safety services to their clients.
We are now looking for an Assistant or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their Birmingham team. Ideally you would have recently graduated with a good degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar, any industry experience, especially within Quantity Surveying / Cost Consultancy would be desirable. The successful candidate will be working alongside a Senior Consultant delivering a programme of Refurbishments and fit-outs for a hotel chain client. This is great experience for someone at the beginning of their career in Quantity Surveying as it allows you to get involved and ultimately deliver projects from inception to completion and therefore get exposure of the full pre and post contract PQS role and the full construction process.
You also have the opportunity to join a small but highly experienced and qualified team of Professional Quantity Surveyors who can offer great ongoing training and support alongside a nice team working environment.
You MUST also already be based within commuting distance of Birmingham city centre and be willing to travel. A full driving license is also required.
