Role: Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Location: Barking and Dagenham

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Details of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor role.

We are hiring for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for a building and construction flooring company based in Barking and Dagenham. This is an entry level role which is based in the company office in Barking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing project costs
  • Ensure good value for money
  • Assisting in cost forecasting
  • Monitoring project finances
  • Liaising with clients
  • Understanding the clients needs
  • Estimating the project costs and time-lines
  • Preparing tender documents
  • Managing risks
  • Contract administration

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a valid degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Good analytical skills and technical proficiency in MS office suite.
