I am looking to appoint two Grounds Maintenance Operatives in the Newcastle area on a permanent basis for a nationwide contractor, looking after one of their key clients. The properties that they look after span from Berwick down to Teesside and successful candidates must commit to driving between these locations as and when required.
My client has been awarded the Facilities Management of one of their current Housing Association contracts and they are looking to appoint two Grounds Maintenance Operatives on a permanent basis to help them fulfil this.
They are looking for candidates who have came from a similar background, working as a handyman/general maintenance operative/gardener/semi skilled labourer, ideally within the housing industry.
Daily duties can be as follows but are not limited to:
- Grass cutting
- Hedge trimming
- General rubbish removal
- Looking after communal areas
- Litter picking
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in the North East, with great perks and benefits. Annual salary circa £24k. MUST have driving licence. Company vehicle will be provided.
