Groundworks Gang

Salary: GBP 16.00 - GBP 22.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION for a Groundworker:

Our client is looking for a groundworks gang to join their StreetWorks project in Willand. You will be required to work on all aspects of including Cutting Tarmac, Digging in verges and utilities. Our client are ideally looking for 3 operatives - A ganger, Excavator operator and a Groundworker.

The contract is on a temporary basis but could lead onto a permanent role for the right candidates; working hours will be 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, and may involve some weekend work.

Daily responsibilities will include:

* Operating 1.5 tonne machine

* All roundworks associated with StreetWorks projects

* Assisting with labouring when required

* Ad hoc assisting of work on site

Requirements

* A valid CSCS card a

*At least one member of the gang needs to have excavator ticket, StreetWorks ticket and first aid certificate

* Own tools

* Own PPE - High vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask and hard hat can be provided by Daniel Owen
