Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently supporting a fast-growing, international consumer products business, based in Worcestershire in their search to appoint a Group Accountant to their team.
They are looking for someone who wants to take their first move into industry from practice, or someone with some Financial Accounting experience. You'll have contact with key stakeholders within the business and be responsible for supplying the board with data for key strategic and commercial purposes.
They are offering flexible/ hybrid working and routes for fast-track progression for the candidate they bring on board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidation of results from the UK and overseas operating divisions around the group
- Monthly and statutory reporting, for various stakeholders - such as the executive board and our lending banks
- Working with the finance teams made up of various FDs across the international group (in the UK; Spain; Italy; Belgium; Turkey; the Netherlands; Australia; USA)
- Supplying the Board with data for key commercial / strategic purposes, and producing ad-hoc analyses for M&A and financing
- Assisting with continuous improvement of Oracle reporting system, working with our external IT consultants
- Working with various external advisors on other financial reporting-related projects
- Working with newly acquired businesses to help on-board them with Group processes
- Maintaining head office accounts
Group Accountant Package:
- £45,000 - £55,000
- Hyrbid working
