Our Group Head Office located in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit a Group Commercial Systems Surveyor to join the Group Commercial Systems Team. The Role Reporting to the Group Head of Commercial Systems, principal accountabilities of the role include: Support the enhancement of Commercial Systems through participation in upgrade delivery. Support testing of COINS, principal Bellway Commercial System product and associated systems/software changes / upgrades. Contribute to the effective administration and Implementation of Group Commercial policies. Use best practice and system functionality knowledge to support development with Group Commercial Processes, as directed. Participate in the rollout of new/revised Group Commercial policies and processes. Provide Commercial support on the COINS platform to the Group Support function and Divisions. Support & work with Commercial Systems Manager to deliver training and skills transfer to Super-Users to allow the Super-User group to provide first line support. Revise, maintain and implement COINs Quick Card user guides for current and future COINs projects. Support training and skills transfer to users, including new starters, on system enhancements and changes and to provide regular refresher training as deemed necessary. Support the Commercial Systems Manager to maintain all standard documentation both off-line, within the COINS platform and all associated systems. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Experience of working in a commercial Role for a house-building or construction organisation. Robust understanding and knowledge gained through use of COINS. Experience of data analysis and advanced use of Microsoft Excel. Qualifications and Training HNC/HND in relevant Building Studies GCSE Grade C/4+ or equivalent in English and Maths COINS Skills and Aptitude Drive and determination to achieve results and get things right. Ability to develop a good understanding of the commercial needs of the business (especially during a period of change). Ability to work on own initiative. Strong communication, listening and presentation skills. Excellent attention to detail. Methodical, conscientious, organised and works to deliver high standards. The ability problem solve, build & support solutions and execute solutions in a speedy and effective manner. Ability to work within a team & build strong relationships. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced & ever changing environment. Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks with deadlines taken into consideration. The Role and Working Conditions Office based role with regular travel to Regional & divisional offices for both meetings & team working (this may include periods of time away during the week) Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.
