Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a mechanical engineering business based in Dudley, to assist them in appointing a Group Finance Manager to their team.

They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to facilitate the efficient running of their Finance Department. The Finance Manager will analyse every day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.

The business are looking for someone to assist members of the SLT to make sound financial business decisions and to meet the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts for all UK entities
  • Assisting with Group reporting submission of all UK entities
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management while recommending further courses of action
  • Oversee operations of the finance department (two direct reports), set goals and objectives, and design a framework for those to be met
  • To standardise accounting practices within each subsidiary division, including future new acquisitions
  • Assist with preparing and monitoring the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow forecasts of all UK entities
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance compared to business plans
  • Assist with production of year end statutory accounts of all UK entities
  • Acting as a central point of contact for external auditors and year end accounting queries
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans, and agreeing on future paths to be taken
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take

Group Finance Manager Package:

  • £50,000 - £55,000
