The role:
You will report directly into the Group Senior Finance Manager and will be responsible for supporting the reporting team in preparing accurate and detailed management accounting and stock reporting as well as providing clear visibility of financial and commercial implications to support profitable commercial decision making. This is a key role within the financial reporting team responsible for providing appropriate financial information as well as undertaking related project and accounts administration.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of the multi-currency Group consolidation on a monthly and year end basis
- Preparation and analysis of the Group Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement
- Supporting the Group FC and Group Senior Finance Manager on transformation projects and planned acquisitions, undertaking analysis as required
- Playing an active role in the Group's project to upgrade the finance system to SAP, working alongside fulltime project managers and external consultants
- Working with local finance teams across Europe to submit results and streamline processes, building strong, professional relationships
- Working with the Group Senior Finance Manager and the local finance teams to implement stronger financial controls
What we are looking for:
- Our ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant
- Experience gained in a similar commercial business, pharmaceutical, FMCG or retail would be considered an advantage
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Sage X3 and SAP would be advantageous
- Strong project management, critical thinking and organisational skills
- Proven people management experience and the ability to collaborate and build relationships
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Ability to be flexible with working hours
