To oversee the site based maintenance team and assist the hard services manager in all aspects of the contract. This is a prestigious place of work holding 3000 support rooms/ residential suites. In order to be considered for this role candidates must have the following essential qualifications:

  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • A known qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience in leadership and team management
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Possess a full UK Driving license

As well as these essential attributes it is also desirable that the candidate has:

  • Experience in the use of computer aided management (CAFM)
  • IOSH qualification
  • Previous construction experience
  • Experience in education sector

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the folowing:

  • Strong management skills
  • The ability to prioritise duties
  • Be able to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Posses the ability to use initiative
  • Be computer literate

some of the key responsibilities are as follows:

  • To supervise day to day maintenance services
  • To ensure the site is adequatey staffed
  • To assist the hard services manager
  • To undertake regularly , recorded Audits
  • To review risk and method statements
  • To specify small/ remidial works for costing
  • To raise purchase orders for stock requirements
  • To manage and track all maintenance issues utilising the (CAFM System)
  • To identify relevant build defects and arrange work
