We at Protocol are partnered with a highly reputable and forward thinking Higher Education group in the North Yorkshire area to recruit a Policing Lecturer to deliver degree level modules from the BA Hons Professional Policing course for 4 days per week. This establishment offers high quality learning solutions to all students as well as highly professional staff who invest in their learners; providing a combination of impeccable teaching and professional experience to continually inspire the next generation of young professionals.
A centrally located campus offers state of the art facilities for both students and staff. We are seeking a flexible and dynamic individual with a professional policing background but also that of excellent teaching practice within Higher Education.
Role responsibilities
Course research
Lecture planning and preparation
Marking and assessment of students work
Attending staff meetings when required
Any administrative tasks when required
Adhere to all campus policies when on site
Delivery of the allocated BA Hons Professional Policing module
The person & qualifications
Professional experience within a relevant working sector
Masters qualified
Previous teaching experience on a Policing degree
HE teaching experience
