We are recruiting for a fantastic college i the South West London area for a fixed term of 12 months. We are for a dedicated Head of Admissions and Customer Services to engage with the college on a full-time basis until September 30th 2019.
Role responsibilities
To have overall responsibility for the management of all Central Admissions, Student Enrolments, Student Finance and Information Advice and Guidance
To provide high quality services to learners prior to enrolling and during enrolment
To foster a professional and consistent approach across all College sites
To lead, manage and monitor the student finance processes, ensuring effective systems in place
To manage and develop effective responses to student enquiries by phone, email or letters
To lead and manage the reception team ensuring processes are efficient and timely
The person & qualifications
Essential:
Significant experience of student recruitment, admissions, IAG, student finance for post 16, adult learners and work based learners in an FE environment
Experience of leading and planning complex events for enrolment programmes
At least 3 years of management and leadership experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
Commitment to continued professional development
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and inter personal skills
High level of professionalism and business acumen
Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight to time deadlines
Ability to prioritise work in a pressurised environment
Management skills appropriate to the post including decisiveness, energy and drive, flexibility and integrity
Ability to manage resources efficiently and effectively
Practical ICT skills
Preferable:
IAG qualified to at least level 4 or willing to undertake if asked to.
