Kier Utilities is one of the top utility providers in the UK, helping to connect heat and power to country across the nation and we're looking for a Head of Communications and Engagement to join us. In this new role, you'll be responsible for managing the outputs of a specialist team who are responsible for designing and executing targeted internal and external communications, engagement and social value programmes, with the purpose of developing employee engagement internally and brand reputation externally.
You will draw from customer, client and employee intelligence and feedback as well as social deprivation data to create and develop a tailored programme that delivers on both Group and Utilities' strategy in the key areas of Client, Customer, People and Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
As Head of Comms and Engagement you will provide leadership and direction to a team delivering strategy Implementation, social Value programmes, marketing and communications (internal and external), promotion of best practice and innovation and delivery of business unit events and campaigns. All this whilst proactively measuring and reporting on the reach, impact and effectiveness of these activities to drive a culture of continuous improvement and ensure a high-quality service is delivered.

What do we need from you?
As Head of Communications and Engagement you will have experience delivering a similar role, with a proven track record of dealing with and influencing business leaders. You'll have confidence networking and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. With exceptional verbal, writing and editing skills, you'll in particular have the ability to write in different styles to reflect the nature of the audience, stakeholder and message.
