Protocol is delighted to be working with an education provider in South Yorkshire to recruit their next Head of Construction.
Reporting into the Assistant Principal, the post-holder will be instrumental in implementing the strategic direction of the Faculty whilst managing the day to day operations that ensure outstanding delivery and innovative provision.
Role responsibilities
Lead curriculum staff to contribute effectively to the strategic aims of the College.
To respond to funding changes and develop provision in growth areas.
To be a role model across the curriculum area for outstanding teaching and learning.
To performance manage lecturers and other staff within Academies and ensure that they develop their professional practice.
To lead Academies and secure outstanding outcomes for students and employers.
The person & qualifications
Degree level qualification of relevant industrial experience or professional qualification.
Recognised teaching qualification.
Numeracy and literacy skills (to level 2 or equivalent).
Management qualification (level 3)
Knowledge and successful experience of leadership and management.
