Based at the heart of South Leeds, The Hunslet Club is a registered Charity that has been helping young people to achieve their full potential for over 75 years.
With a membership of over 2500 young people accumulating almost 67,000 individual visits we are one of the largest youth organisations in the country serving the local community of one of the most economically deprived areas of Leeds.

The Club has an established Alternative Education provision delivering courses leading to accredited vocational qualifications in sport, dance, engineering, construction, hair & beauty, catering and music production for 14 - 16 year olds. The courses are targeted at young people from a range of challenging backgrounds. Over 120 students access our provision each week from a broad range of high schools across Leeds and the surrounding area. There is also provision for 16 - 18 year olds and the current turnover of the education arm stands at £750k and there is significant opportunity to grow this provision, particularly as there are ambitious plans to move to a much larger site by 2021, helping even more young people achieve their full potential.

The Hunslet Club is looking to recruit a new Head of Education to lead and manage the development and delivery of the education programmes. Reporting directly to the CEO you will head a team dedicated to making sure that young people have the opportunity to be the best they can be.

You will be passionate about the organisation and show you have the vision, creativity and innovation to grow their curriculum delivery. You will have a proven track record in a GFE or Education and Skills setting and a good knowledge of Quality frameworks and Funding regimes.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is ambitious to grow both provision and their own career, as the rewards will be tangible if you succeed.
