Operating as the EMEA Technical Electrical Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in the strategic design of hyper-scale datacentre facilities for this Global Real Estate firm. As their EMEA's electrical subject matter expert, you will lead an electrical team overseeing several hyper-scale developments at any one time, while also looking at the mid-2-long term development of the next generation of their facilities.
- Lead the technical direction of all things electrical from assisting the land acquisition team, leading the development of blueprint designs, and providing technical direction to external suppliers and internal teams,
- Work with internal teams to continually improve standards and seek new innovations to develop the data centres of the future,
- Own the electrical design process on live projects from concept through detailed design and sign off,
A highly ambitious Real Estate Firm they have established operations in EMEA, APAC and The Americas, providing wholly outsourced data centres to some of the globe's leading technology firms, delivering over 500 MW's since 2011. Their ambitious growth plans see them rapidly moving towards 1,000MW over the next 5 years, further establishing their standing in the hyper-scale space.
The role is offered with a basic salary in the region of £100,000 to £125,000, plus a comprehensive package to incorporate:

The position is open to individuals who can demonstrate technical excellence in the design of complex electrical solutions within the data centre sector and / or a relatable mission critical environment, while also meeting the following criteria:
- Experienced in leading technical teams, either internal or external suppliers,
- Expert knowledge with electrical systems including control, protection, PMS and fire alarm systems,
- Hold Chartered Engineer status or on route to achieving,
