About the Role

Our client is a market-leading and award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in Planning, Design and the Environment. Responsibilities

Overall management of the EIA Business Unit:

  • Oversee the operations and implementing the appropriate business strategies.
  • Overall responsibility for the provision of effective Health and Safety in the Unit.
  • Participate in Monthly Planning Board Meeting ensuring key decisions are taken in the best interests of the Unit, Division and Stakeholders of the business.
  • Review and sign off tender pricing.
  • Ensure Unit operates in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, sharing best practices.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Oversee the recruitment and development of high calibre employees to support current operations and future growth, while identifying and nurturing talent for career progression in collaboration with HR and leadership.
  • Ensure that appropriate information is communicated with the team whilst promoting a client focussed culture in the business.
  • Lead, motivate and communicate effectively with the team through regular updates on business performance and strategy whilst demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development.

Project delivery

  • Responsible for the P&L, budget, profitability and SHEQ aspects for specific areas, activity, and projects.
  • Responsible for predicting and planning future resources including consulting with other divisions across the business
  • Manage effectively and autonomously significant and complex projects to a high standard.

Skills & Attributes

Our client is looking for an experience EIA professional, from consultancy or industry background. Well connected network will be highly desirable. A membership from a relevant professional body will be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of EIA processes and methodologies, experience in Project Management whilst being able to lead and communicate well within a team.
