Head of Land Job in West Midlands

I have a Head of Land Job available with a top 10 housebuilder in their West Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Land Manager or Head of Land to join this busy region. This position has a clear progression path to become a Land Director role in the not too distant future.

As the successful Head of Land, you'll be part of the busy team working closely with the Regional Managing Director and attending regional board meetings. You'll be tasked with identifying new land opportunities as well as leading and mentoring the land team. This region currently builds Circa 600 homes per year across Birmingham, the Black Country, Coventry, Rugby, Solihull and Warwick.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify land opportunities within the region
  • Legal agreement negotiations
  • Support the Land Director
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners and land agents
  • Negotiate land values
  • Provide regular updates and reports on land purchases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background buying land in the Midlands
  • Relevant degree
  • Commercially aware
  • Previous experience working for a volume housebuilder.
